Labour Day 2020-OSSTF District 9

Labour Day means a lot to the members of OSSTF District 9 because it is the kick-off to a traditional school year. Understandably, there is a lot of trepidation about what the 2020-2021 school year will look like because of the pandemic. Although Labour Day will be virtual this year, we know that the broader labour community will keep the thoughts of education workers in their minds this year as we embark upon opening schools in the age of COVID-19. We are so fortunate to live in Windsor-Essex County because of our strong labour community that has supported us immensely. As we are all navigating through these tumultuous times together I know that we can count on that support continuing, just as we will offer our support as needs arise.
