Labour Day 2021 - OSSTF Dist. 9

Labour Day means a lot to the members of OSSTF District 9 because it is the kick-off to a traditional school year. The 2020-2021 school year was probably the most trying school year of this generation and so we look forward to post-pandemic times sometime during the 2021-2022 school year.

The Windsor-Essex labour community has always supported education workers and teachers and we know that support will continue as we push for proper ventilation and fair working conditions for the worker and safe learning conditions for students.

Whatever thing that can be done, big or small, take the time to celebrate Labour Day. The Covid-19 pandemic has taught us that front line labour kept the world functioning and it is imperative that we all support one another as we all rise from these historic times.
